School Fees and Registration Hours 

School Registration Fees: BDT8000/- (charged per exam session, irrespective of the number of subjects/paper / units taken by the candidate) 

School Assessment Fee: BDT2000/- (charged for 2 sets of assessments for each paper or unit) 

School Registration Hours: During weekdays in between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm (excluding public holidays)

Any fee charged by the school for the services provided including registration fees and assessment fees is one-time and non-refundable payments regardless of assessment policies and procedures. 

Pearson Edexcel School Exams: January 2022

In-person exam or Alternative Assessment for January 2022 Exam Series

Pearson Edexcel or the British Council did not give any declaration of cancellation of exams in January 2022 till date which means we do not have any information if the examinees of the January 2022 series will be assessed through alternative assessment processes like TAGs.

You are required to understand that we are planning on registrations with the thought that January 2022 examinations will go ahead as planned which means exams will be conducted physically, in case we receive any information regarding cancellation of examinations and implementation of TAG procedure you will be duly notified.

Singapore International School discourages students who are not fully prepared for the January 2022 examinations to complete their registrations with the thought that examinations will be replaced by TAGs.

The British Council has advised students to register under any school / centre as private candidates cannot be awarded with grades under TAGs. However, this does not by any means indicate that physical exams will not go ahead. Click here to find the letter from Exams Director, British Council.

Registration Prerequisite: SCHOOL 

The document enlists the regular prerequisites needed to complete the registration procedure. Requirements might change or vary as per the instruction of British Council or Exam Board. In case any other additional documents are required we will let you know accordingly. 

Valid passport is a mandatory requirement to complete the exam registration process and to appear in examinations.

External Candidates

Singapore International School aims to provide aid to all potential private candidates who are preparing to register for their iP (international Primary) & iLS (international Lower Secondary), Int’l GCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) & IAL (International Advanced Levels) Edexcel examinations.

We accept private candidates (who are eligible to appear examinations according to the Pearson Edexcel existing examination regulations) to complete their Pearson Edexcel examinations through our school.

Below are details on what we can assist our candidates with, as well as a list of eligibility for certification, awards & discount vouchers.

Singapore International School is ready to support all candidates in the following areas (in collaboration with Pearson Edexcel) :

ü  Registering for any official Edexcel examinations

ü  Providing all candidates with a Statement Of Entry & exam timetable

ü  Providing all candidates with any pre-release material provided by Edexcel

ü  Providing accessibility & other requested arrangements required for individual candidates

ü  Providing all candidates with results

ü  Providing all candidates with certificates, awards & vouchers

Mock Assessments (IGCSE & IAL) : Mock assessments are compulsory for obtaining every & all certificates, awards & vouchers from Singapore International School. Candidates will NOT be awarded with the materials (transcripts/ predicted result) detailed below if they are not registered as mock examinees at Singapore International School.

Transcripts/ predicted result (IGCSE & IAL) : School will only issue a transcripts/predicted result based on the mock papers assessed by the school.

Reward Chart : Private candidates will be rewarded once the following conditions are met.

iPrimary and iLower Secondary:

·         Candidates with P3 in all the three Primary subjects (English, Mathematics & Science) in one sitting.

·         Candidates with S4 in all the three Lower Secondary subjects (English, Mathematics & Science) in one sitting.

Rewards for candidates who met the above mentioned requirements:

Crest                    : Candidates will be rewarded with an award showpiece to commemorate & represent their achievements.

Certificate         : Candidates will receive certificate form their International Examination Board.

Cash Voucher   : iPrimary and iLower Secondary (Year 1 to 8) candidates who is eligible as per the reward chart will also be rewarded with an additional cash voucher of Taka 5,000/-, which only can be used on their administration fee for next iP & iLS examination registration at Singapore International School.

International GCSE & IAL

·         International GCSE Award:

GRADE A (Grade Point 7) or above in five consecutive subjects taken in one sitting.

·         International A’ Level (IAL) Award:

GRADE A (Grade Point 6) or above in three consecutive subjects taken in one sitting.

Rewards for candidates who met the above mentioned requirements:

Crest                    : Candidates will be rewarded with an award showpiece to commemorate & represent their achievements.

Certificate         : International GCSE candidates will be rewarded with a certificate as documentation & proof of their achievements.

Graduation Certificate   : International A Level (A2) candidates will be rewarded with a certificate as documentation & proof of their achievements.

Cash Voucher   : IGCSE & AS candidates who is eligible as per the reward chart will also be rewarded with an additional cash voucher of Taka 5,000/-, which only can be used on their administration fee for next IAL examination registration at Singapore International School.  

Required Fees:

Administration Fee     : Flat fee payable to the school for one examination session, regardless of any number of subject registering with UK examination body.

Assessments Fee          : Charged by the school as per assessment papers. School will assess the papers and allocate marks accordingly.

UK Examination Fee    : Payable as per the subject taken to the UK examination body in the designated bank.

Pearson Edexcel International GCSE and IAL Registration Prerequisites:

1.   Coloured photocopy of candidate’s valid passport - 2 copies.

2.   Valid email address.

- Students who are under 18 yrs will provide parent’s email address.

- Students who are over 18 yrs will provide their own email address.

3.   Coloured passport sized recent photographs - 4 copies

- These must be identical and taken within the past three months.

4.   Previous exam’s latest copy of Statement of Entry - 2 copies (coloured photocopy).

- This is applicable for students who have appeared for exams earlier.

5.   Previous exam’s latest copy of Result Sheet / Certificate – 2 copies (coloured photocopy).

- This is applicable for students who have appeared for exams earlier.

6.   Copy of the National ID of parent (any one).

- This is applicable if the candidate is under 18 years of age.

7.   School registration fees: BDT 6000/-
